What the information on iptvwest.ca does and doesn't promise, who owns the brand names we mention, and where the responsibility of our IPTV service ends.

General information only
We write our device setup guides, blog articles and FAQs from real support experience, but they are general information. They are not legal, technical, financial or other professional advice for your situation. Device menus and app versions change often, and so do internet plans, so a step that worked last month may look different today. If you're unsure, ask our support team or check with your device maker.
We try to keep every page accurate and up to date, but we don't promise that it is complete or current. Numbers on the site, like channel and on-demand title counts, are approximate and change as content is added or removed. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses that come from relying on general information on this site.
Changing device settings
Some of our guides explain how to change settings on your device, for example turning on Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options > Apps from Unknown Sources in our Fire TV setup steps. Any change you make to device settings is your choice and at your own risk. Only install apps from sources you trust, keep your device updated, and check your device maker's warranty terms if you're unsure.
Trademarks and brand names
This site mentions brand names so you can tell whether our IPTV service works with the equipment you already own. These names and logos belong to their owners, including:
- LG, Samsung and Hisense (Smart TVs);
- Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Google, Chromecast and Google TV (streaming devices);
- Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows and Mac (phones, tablets and computers);
- IPTV Smarters, TiviMate and IBO Player (player apps);
- Interac and Interac e-Transfer (payments).
All trademarks, service marks and logos mentioned on this site, and any other names not listed here, are the property of their respective owners. We use them only to describe compatibility and payment options. IPTV West is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of these companies, and naming a brand doesn't mean its owner approves of our service. If you own a trademark and have a concern about how we use it, email help@supportiptv.ca.
Third-party player apps
To watch our service, you use a player app made by an independent developer, such as IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate or IBO Player. We don't make or sell these apps, and we don't control:
- their prices, premium upgrades or activation fees, which you pay to the developer, not to us;
- whether they stay available in the Google Play, Amazon or Apple app stores;
- updates that change their menus or features;
- how they handle your data, so check each app's own privacy policy.
Your plan price doesn't include any app fees. If an app stops working or disappears from a store, our support team will help you switch to another one. Our IPTV Smarters Pro setup guide is a good place to start.
Links to other websites
Some pages link to other websites, like app stores or a device maker's help pages. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link isn't an endorsement, and those sites have their own terms.
No guarantee of uptime or specific content
We aim for steady, reliable streams, but we can't guarantee the service will be available at all times, or that any specific channel, event, movie or series will be offered. The line-up changes. Our terms and conditions explain availability, maintenance and the limits of our liability. To check the channels that matter to you, try our free 24-hour trial before you look at plans and prices.
Copyright and your responsibility
You're responsible for using our service in line with Canadian law, including the Copyright Act. That means watching for personal use at home, and not recording, sharing or rebroadcasting what you watch. If you believe material available through our service infringes your copyright, our DMCA notice and copyright policy explains how to report it.
